Mr Thrifty Skeleton is an economical teaching skeleton with a user-friendly personality that will encourage children to learn the names of the bones, including enough anatomical detail to satisfy anyone interested in anatomical study. Mr Thrifty has a removable calvarium. This skeleton model is best used for educational purposes in younger school classrooms, or for display. We do not recommend this for advanced study.

Heavy metal stand included.Size: 33-1/2 inches tall. Made by Anatomical Chart Company.

When my 8 year old daughter ( who has the whole of her young life said that she aspires to be a cardiac surgeon) asked for a lifeskeleton model for her birthday, I mentally scoffed( she had previously requested an ultrasound machine). However, not being the type of parent to inhibit any creative learning, went online to see what was what. I found the Anatomy Warehouse and Mr. Thrifty. He is a wonderful, workable size for a child adult with limited space as well. And the price was unbeatable for the quality. My daughter and I are both extremely pleased and would definitely recommend this product.

Although the skeleton came in with slight defects like a curved spine, overall, I was happy with the model. It was easy to put together (put it together in less than 5 min). I am currently studying anatomy for my nursing class and this model is handy. It's small enough that it doesn't require that much space and for the most part is anatomically correct. My 7 yr old loves it. I'm using this model to teach her about anatomy as well as teach myself. This model is also good as a halloween decoration!
