Description

The Painted and Numbered Big Tim Skeleton is budget painted skeleton that has muscle insertions and origins painted on the left side of the skeleton and numbers of important features on the right side. The calvarium of this anatomical model skeleton is cut with moveable jaw mounted on springs. Arms, legs and skull are removable. The skeleton model is best used as a display model both in classrooms and in offices, and its basic detailed structure allows it to serve as a great tool for patient education as well. We do not recommend this model for advanced study.

Includes a stand and educational keycard. Measures 25.5in.. Weighs about 4 lbs. Made by Anatomical Chart Company.

    Waste of money

Cheap! Lettering is hardly legible, doesn't have an easily understandable legend. Skeleton doesn't hang properly.

    Big Tim Skeleton

Skeleton is perfect size. [...] very easy to assemble. [...] Product is great. Some numbers are a little difficult to read, but for the small areas of the model it is to be expected. Great as a gift, for review, display, or even conversation piece. Well worth the price.

    Promising

The model appears highly detailed and was simple to put together. Thankfully, a legend manual was included but it does not explain the color coding on the skeleton. As a nursing student, I have found it to be a helpful tool. Unfortunately, when I went to put the skull back on the model I erroneously had it backwards and the peg broke off into the hole. It surprised me how weak the peg was as I did not use unnecessary force or pressure.

    Good for beginners

I recently began studies in Anatomy and this has been helpful as a visual aid. I didn't expect something really elaborate at this price. I believe the price reflects the quality accurately.
