Note Dated April 9, 2025:
In the last 7 days, we have seen seismic shifts in the global trade landscape. News of recent events are readily available; however, a summary of our current understanding here is to provide context, particularly in areas that will impact Anatomy Warehouse.
Note: Things are evolving rapidly, and in real time, therefore we may not always be able to communicate current conditions with 100% accuracy. We ask for your patience in our ability to communicate changes during these times.
As part of our commitment to providing our clients with products across a broad range of prices, functions, features and academic levels, we source products from products across the globe. Our largest sources of imports are Asia, the European Union, Canada and Mexico. As of now, we anticipate that every product line we offer to our customers will be affected by the new tariffs and shifting trade landscape.

The impact this will have on our product pricing and availability is still unfolding. We remain hopeful that negotiations among world leaders will commence and conclude quickly, and ultimately, that the current tariff rates will be drastically reduced (or eliminated) as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there is no way to forecast when, or if, such reductions will happen. We remain committed to providing our customers with timely order updates, communication regarding our procedures and plans, and as always, a compassionate team to support you through these unfolding events.
For now, what we know is that we cannot double or triple our prices to hide the reality of these tariffs in a sale price. This leaves us with limited options. Precisely because transparency is a core aspect of our culture and values, we are openly sharing the options we can offer to customers at this time:
1. We will extend lead times on products we do not have in stock by at least 90 days while we assess the landscape and trade negotiations. It is our sincere hope that the negotiations will conclude in this timeframe and that we can resume standard production and procurement schedules within 90 days.
2. To account for the current tariff rates, we will now add a “Tariff Surcharge” to the quotations we submit to customers, which will include the cost of tariffs on the goods we are quoting to you. This will only apply to products which we do not currently have in stock and will need to import to get to you. The size of the surcharge will reflect the current tariff rates and, as the last 7 days have indicated, could fluctuate daily.
It is worth noting that, throughout the end of 2024 and into early 2025, we have been tirelessly working to stock up on products as quickly and plentifully as possible. We currently have above-average stock levels for many of our product lines and we plan to hold pricing until we are forced to modify it.
We are working extremely hard to maintain pricing on quotations but ask for your patience and understanding as we may need to, at times, modify pricing based on the ever-changing landscape. It is not lost on us that budgets are tighter than ever, and additional costs like a Tariff Surcharge may complicate your ability to place orders with us. We sincerely regret the situation we’ve all been placed in and remain open to your questions and feedback on how we can best support you through collaboration and communication.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to us any time for support, updates or to discuss options. As always, we genuinely appreciate your business, and we remain entirely at your service through these turbulent times.
