Axis Scientific Two-Part Neuron Model with Dendrite and Axon
The two-part Axis Scientific Neuron Model is enlarged almost 2500 times and built from durable PVC Plastic. This unique and beautifully hand-painted anatomy model effectively shows structures normally visible under electron microscopy, including a separate medullated nerve fiber component which can be bisected via easy magnetic closures. It's simple construction comes in two pieces which can be separated to reveal in-depth structures of the neuron, with the larger piece mounted on a plastic board for easy desk-placement or mounting.
