One of our largest tooth models, molded of unbreakable plastic, portrays a molar from the upper jaw 15 times normal size for ease of study.
This fascinating model includes 4 interchangeable inserts, showing progressive stages of caries. The molar can be divided longitudinally to expose its interior from crown to root. The pulp can be removed from one half of the tooth, and a section of the crown can be removed from the other half. Any of the three additional interchangeable sections can be inserted to exhibit advancing stages of caries. Principal structures are hand numbered on the model and identified in the accompanying key.
