This is a great model for physicians discussing back pain with their patients. This back muscle model is designed for patient interaction and education. The model features soft, flexible, and removable superficial and intermediate muscle layers that also expose the deep muscles, making the understanding of anatomical relationships an easy, interactive experience. Two pullout cards add additional information on the muscles. The muscles listed on the key card are the trapezius, infraspinatus, latissimus dorsi, external oblique, splenius capitis, levator scapulae, supraspinatus, rhomboideus minor, infraspinatus, teres minor, rhomboideus major, and serratus posterior inferior.
The size of this model is scaled down for efficient use in the classroom. Its dimensions are approximately 10.25" x 6.75" x 12.75" and it weighs about 3 pounds.
