MEDICAL-X Trauma Torso Task Trainer: Realistic Wound Care and Hemorrhage Control
The Trauma Torso Task Trainer is a specialized simulator designed for practicing critical wound care and hemorrhage control techniques on the chest and abdomen. The trainer represents an injured torso featuring three distinct types of wounds: laceration, puncture, and avulsion wounds.
The torso features both soft tissue and underlying bone structure, constructed from silicone and plastic for realistic tactile feedback. A functional bleeding system enables the torso to bleed realistically from within the wounds, requiring trainees to intervene effectively to stop the hemorrhage.

Operating the Bleeding System
The bleeding system is activated by filling the included application bottle with artificial blood and attaching the bottle's nozzle to one of the tubes at the top side of the trainer. Each tube is connected with one of the three wounds. Squeezing the application bottle pushes artificial blood through the tubes into the wound, simulating realistic bleeding.
The system features reinforced endcaps for extra durability during repetitive training sessions.
