Description
Practi-Sodium BiCarb 8.4% for clinical training, simulates sodium bicarb 8.4% (50 mEq/50 mL; 4.2 g/50 mL) in a 50 mL clear vial.
Teach your students the sterile techniques of large vial handling, air replacement, dosage aspiration and needle withdrawal with this simulated treatment of metabolic acidosis due to severe renal disease, uncontrolled diabetes, circulatory insufficiency from shock or dehydration, cardiac arrest or primary lactic acidosis.
The Practi-Sodium BiCarb 8.4% 50 mL vial is filled with distilled water and is safe for use with manikins and task trainers as a simulated version of the large vials often used in nursing, EMS and pharmacy programs.
