Introducing the Adult Airway Management Platform with New Skills

This newly updated airway management platform from Decent Simulators is a robust, hands-on training tool for mastering the entire suite of airway management. The upgraded trainer is built from real MRI and photogrammetry data, featuring an airway that responds just like real tissue. Its fully modular design is its greatest strength, featuring a quick-release system that allows instructors to swap the airway in seconds. This enables a seamless transition from a standard airway to a difficult scenario (angioedema, mass/tumor, burn, and epiglottitis) without interrupting the training session. With three newly added skills to train, the V2 airway trainer becomes more functional with F.O.N.A., S.A.L.A.D., and bronchi modules that allow for advance airway management scenarios and procedures to be performed. 

Key Features for Advanced Airway Training

• Realistic Anatomy & Feel: Airway behavior is tested against clinical cadavers. Features all critical landmarks, including true and false vocal cords, posterior cartilages, epiglottis, jaw, tongue and the interarytenoid notch.
• Improved Airway Mechanics: Jaw lift and jaw thrusts mechanics that move the tongue and epiglottis naturally.
• Fully Modular Design: All parts are replaceable. The quick-release system allows the airway to be swapped in seconds.
• Difficult Airway Scenarios: An interchangeable airway for practicing difficult airway scenarios, like angioedema, mass/tumor, burn, and epiglottitis based on real case studies.
• New Mechanical Functions: Add an anterior position by raising the airway mechanically, and a new function that mimics laryngeal oedema within the airway itself, adding to more realistic scenario practice.
• Multiple Skin Tones: Available in both light and dark skin tones to enhance realism in training.
• Optional Painted Finish: A hand-painted finish is available to add extra visual realism and increase learner engagement.

• F.O.N.A. skill module adds the ability to perform an airway incision with different kinds of fat pads for different body size scenario practice.
• S.A.L.A.D. skill module enables new skills to be practiced, like airway decontamination and suctioning.
