Q & A

Q: Can this model be disassembled?
A: The bones of the foot are held together with durable nylon cording, which can be loosened with the included clips. Technically, yes, users can cut the nylon to free all of the bones, however it is not recommended as many of the bones are very, very small and easily lost.

Q: What is the model made of?
A: This model is made of a high-quality PVC plastic cast from an original skeleton. The bones are held together with durable nylon cording.

Q: Can the foot hold different poses?
A: No, unfortunately this foot cannot be posed in positions and stay in that position. It displays best when layed on a table or flat surface.

Q: Can I choose the right or the left foot?
A: We are only offering the right foot. You are not able to choose the left.

Q: Is this model considered life size?
A: Yes, this is a life size foot model.

Q: Does the nylon cord run through the entire model?
A: Yes, the nylon cord does run through the entire model. This makes the model extremely flexible at every point.

Q: Does this model come with a warranty?
A: Yes, like all Axis Scientific anatomy models, this model is supported by a 3 Year Warranty.

Q: Are the bony landmarks visible on this model?
A: Yes, the bony landmarks will be visible.

Q: Are there any numbered parts on the bones?
A: No, this model is not numbered.

Q: What is the size of this foot model?

    Nothing to Lose

Posted by Amelie B on Jul 16th 2020

This model is good for examining the bones of the feet without loosing any pieces. You can slide the clamp open and separate the bones, but they all stay on the string so nothing gets lost/

    plastic vs metal

Posted by Dustin R on Jul 16th 2020

Wasn't sure if I was going to like this one over the full metal one, but it actually gives me more flexiblity to study the bones.
