Description

The Anatomy Lab micro desktop skeleton model is our smallest and most basic, entry-level skeleton offering. The model has easily removable and movable arms and legs, and a skull cap that removes from the model. The skull's jaw offers movement but does not remove from the model. The skeleton shows just the very basic anatomical detail of the spine, the ribs, and the skull. The model offers no flexibility in the spine or the neck. The micro skeleton is pelvically mounted to stand upright, and it's a perfect model for small areas. This is a simple and no-frills skeleton and it's a great choice for an entry level model that identifies the very basic anatomical landmarks of the human skeleton. This model is 19" tall and has a base that is 4.75" by 4.75".

    Cute!

It is tiny and cute. It isn't high quality, but you get what you pay for and so it is perfect for my use.

    Tiny but powerful

Posted by Edwin P on Oct 5th 2013

Micro is the best word to describe this. It isn't something for detailed anatomical study. The feet and the hands have all of their bones together in one mold and that makes sense because there wouldn't be enough bone to string togteher if they were individual. The larger bones in the body are individual so they can be observed, but the size gives restrictions. If you want real study, go up at least 1 size, but if this is just for fun and decor, this does the job for a good price.
