Similarly to its non-transparent cousin, this model features an exceptional level of detail. It splits into 15 pieces, including a transparent left cortex with sinus. The models unique design allows for a clear view of the structures of the brain.
Brain dissects into cervical vertebral column with spinal cord and vertebral artery, right cortex (transparent), right half of sphenoid bone, removable brain stem (bisected), right and left insular cortex, left striate body, right capsular interna, corpus callosuem, fornix, limbic system and ventricle system (single piece), and right and left halves of cerebellum. It also has a removable left cortex with sinus, attached to base of skull.
