A premier quality joint model, unrivalled by any other in the industry, this foot and ankle model is slightly flexible and showcases a comprehensive collection of ligaments. The foot and ankle joint shows all major and minor ligaments, even under the sole of the foot. High quality materials are used to replicate human ligament tissue, and will maintain their flexibility even after years of use. The model comes mounted on a stand, but is also removable from stand for advanced study. All bones are cast from original human specimens, providing incredible detail in all skeletal elements. Includes the lower portions of the tibia and fibula, and all bones in the foot. Model measures 8.3 x 9.8 x 3.5 inches and weighs approximately 1.25 pounds.

Manufactured by medical artists and craftsmen in Germany. Backed by an industry-leading 5 year warranty.

Q & A

Q: Does the model come off the stand?
A: This model is secured to the base with a threaded bolt and nut. Technically, yes, you can remove it from the base, however we recommend you keep the model securely fashioned to the base to avoid damaging the model. Keeping it mounted on the base also ensures flexibility is easy to demonstrate.

Q: How flexible are the ligamented joints on this model?
A: The joints range in allowable movement. We do not recommend you bend the joints past the suggested range of movement. The ligaments do attach somewhat like where the ligaments naturally/anatomically attach, but it's not going to be hyper-flexible where you can do full ankle rotations.

Extension and Flexion = 15 degrees
Rotation Movements (In and Out) = 10 degrees
Lateral Movements = 10 degrees

Q: Are there other products that I should get with this model?
A: This model pairs well with any of the following anatomy charts:

The Lower Extremity Laminated Anatomy Chart
Joints Of The Lower Extremities Anatomical Chart
Foot And Ankle Anatomical Chart
Anatomy And Injuries Of The Foot And Ankle Chart

Many people also like to procure multiple joint models, to complete their collection. The Rudiger Anatomie Hand Skeleton with Ligaments, the Rudiger Anatomie Functional Shoulder Joint with Ligaments, the Rudiger Anatomie Functional Hip Joint with Ligaments and the Rudiger Anatomie Functional Knee Joint with Ligaments all make great additions to your well-rounded joint model collection. We recommend that users collect models from the same brand to ensure a consistent learning or consultation experience.

Q: Is this model considered life size?

A: Yes, this model is life size. The dimensions are 8.3 x 9.8 x 3.5 inches.

Q: Can I remove the ligaments from this model?

A: The ligaments are not meant to be removed from the model. While you may be able to get them off, they will not be able to be reapplied.

Q: Does this model come with a warranty?

A: Yes, all Rudiger Models come with a 5 year warranty.

Rudiger Anatomie
Warranty Period: 5 Years
Premium Quality and Dependability

Designed and produced entirely in Germany, Rudiger Anatomie is one of the leading manufacturers of anatomical models, skeletons models and wall charts. As a strong statement of quality, Rudiger Anatomie provides one of the longest warranty periods in the industry right from the moment you receive your new product, guaranteeing it will faithfully perform during the Five Year Warranty.

What the Warranty Covers

Rudiger Anatomie produces premiere skeletons and models, so don't expect a lot to go wrong with your new model. However, if something does, having selected a premier model, you can be confident the warranty has you covered.

  • Here is what's covered:
    • If your anatomical model breaks or significantly degrades from normal everyday use, defined as:

Warranty Limitations

Rudiger Anatomie builds products that are built to last a lifetime. Each product is versatile and a must-have for anyone who wants the best of the best. Since this product has so many uses, unfortunately, the warranty warranty does have a few limitations.

  • We cannot cover misuse, improper storage, mishandling, or mistreatment under warranty. • Improper cleaning or storage of your anatomical model.
    • Modifications to the product, such as markings, additional or negated hardware, drilling, cutting, or otherwise altering your anatomical model.
    • Excessive stress on functional parts, such as vertebral stress or joint over-extension.
  • Damage due to negligence, theft, property damage, or the like are not covered by the Rudiger Anatomie warranty.
  • Anatomical charts are not covered by the Rudiger Anatomie Five Year Warranty.
  • While we will always be here to support you, we cannot provide customers with a return label for any products shipped to a location outside of the United States.

    Patients love it

Posted by Elisa on Jul 14th 2017

We have a regular foot skeleton from another brand, but I wanted something that shows the ligament to show what is truly being affected when you hurt something in your foot. My patients I think have really appreciated how easy it is for me to explain their injury, and I love it for the details that they might not be able to see.

For a foot skeleton, this model is very detailed. Happy that we purchased for the lab.

These are surprisingly realistic. I know it said that in the description, but I REALLY was impressed by it. Will definitely be buying more from this line. High quality product.
