The bones are embedded in transparent plastic. Erler-Zimmer Phantom models are handmade, and contain real human bones so each model is unique. Each model will slightly differ in size and shape, and due to production technology, there may be some discoloring and possible cracks inside the phantom. This phantom is only sold against a proof of medical use.
