Superficial and deep muscular is also represented on the model, with some muscles being removable. This sexless human muscled figure is a high-quality and highly detailed representation of human anatomy.
Head and Neck Region
The model features a removable calvarium that exposes the removable and dissectible 2-part brain. The brain divides into 2 parts to provide a cross-section view of its anatomy. The parts, lobes, and nerves of the brain are numbered and identified. Once the brain is removed, the cranial cavity displays the complete cranial fossae.
The brain model features the cranial nerves and provides a view of the 2 different nerve origins: the cerebrum (the optic and olfactory nerves) and the brainstem. The nerves coming from the brain stem can originate from a specific part of the midbrain, pons, or medulla oblongata, or in the junctions between them.
