Description

Axis Scientific has taken its high quality 3-piece didactic human skull model and mounted it on a flexible cervical spine that includes details of the nerves and vertebral arteries. Axis Scientific skulls are crafted from a hard and durable plastic, and they are exceptional depictions of human skulls, perfect for students, instructors and health practitioners. Axis Scientific integrated the skull on a flexible cervical spine that can be easily moved to resemble the natural, or problematic positioning of the head and neck. The skull's fissures, foramina, processes, sutures are all accurately represented and color coded. The model also shows the hindbrain, spinal cord, cervical nerves, vertebral arteries, basilar artery and rear cerebral arteries. This skull is mounted on a sturdy white base. The model weighs 3 pounds and has dimensions 9 x 6 X 13. Axis Scientific offers a full range of budget friendly, detailed anatomical models, great for medical students and professionals. Axis Scientific Anatomy models all come with 3-Year Warranties. Contact our expert support team for advice on this and our other Axis products.

    Colorized

It is a little more expensive than the all white ones, but the color makes all the difference in helping me to memorize the different bones.

    Prime Spine

Seems well constructed, it's a good size, the spine is a bonus, and I suspect it will be durable. In my opinion compared to the competition you get a great value for your money with this one.

    Atypical Application

Posted by Jada E on Aug 8th 2017

I'm an animatronics artist, which is probably not the standard customer for this product, but I have used this model as a reference for some of the newer and more realistic units we are building. Its been really helpful to my work. Highly recommend for whatever your application is!

    Replacement

This was purchased as a replacement for a much older model in my practice. Its very detailed and the color coding helps me explain many different aspects of the skull and neck areas to my patients.
