Description

This one-of-a-kind spine model displays a comprehensive view of the human spine. As shown, you can view the different muscles that connect to the cervical section of the spine as well as the muscles that attach to the pelvis. Some of those muscles in the cervical section of the spine include longus capitis, longus colli, and the anterior, middle, and posterior scalene muscles. When viewing the pelvic area of the spine model, you'll find the gluteus medius, gluteus minimus, piriformis, obturatorius externus, quadratus femoris, and the psoas minor.

Axis Scientific's human spine replica also highlights the nerves that are weaved within the muscles and vertebrae. With this model, take a peek under the sacrum by removing the middle piece which exposes the nerves underneath, on the reverse side you'll spot the sacral plexus nerves threading out of the sacrum.
