SOMSO Disarticulated Skull in 14 Pieces

This fascinating and high quality skull from SOMSO Modelle features 14 individual pieces that can easily be interconnected with small plugs, allowing for a totally unique study experience. The skull can be disarticulated easily. The sphenoid, occipital, and two temporal bones fit together to form the base of the skull. The frontal and parietal bones attach to the anterior of the sphenoid bone. The facial and cranial portion of the skull is then completed with the attachment of the right and left maxilla bones, including lacrimal, nasal, and palatine bone. The Zygomatic bones also connect the facial and cranial bones, and each be individually removed. The mandible is fixed in place through the use of a hinge joint.
