Description

If you are searching for details only a real bone skull could match, this is where your search ends! Experts agree: This is one of the most detailed and accurate plastic human skulls available on the market. Completely made by hand by medical artists, this skull has every major, minor and nearly impossible to recreate detail present on an actual human skull. For the manufacturing process, a real human skull with full dentition was chosen and the model is dissectible into 14 parts.

A horizontal section of the skull exposes the cranial cavity in which the course of the meningeal vessels, the venous sinuses and the internal carotid artery are indicated in color. A sagittal section exposes the structure of the nasal cavity including frontal and sphenoidal sinuses.

The frontal sinus is further dissected on one side by a bony section, on the other side it is resected in its outline. The temporal bone is removable and sectioned into two parts presenting internal ear anatomy in full view.

The mandible and the maxillae are opened on one side presenting the roots of teeth with dental vessels and nerves presented artificially in color. The mandible is movable and can be taken off. On the other side, the maxillae can be opened by a bony window.

If you demand the most in anatomical detail from a plastic human skull, this skull is what we recommend. Skull measures approximately 9.5 x 5.5 x 6.7 inches and weighs approximately 1.5 pounds.

Manufactured by medical artists and craftsmen in Germany. Backed by an industry-leading 5 year warranty. This skull does not come with a manual.

Q & A

Q: What is the skull made from?
A: This skull is made from a high-quality German PVC plastic.

Q: How is the skull held together?
A: Moving parts of this skull are held together by high-quality metal hooks and soft metal posts. Opening and closing the major features of the skull are very easy and smooth.

Q: What makes this skull unique when compared to other human skull models?
A: This skull gives you unprecedented views of many difficult-to-study parts of the human skull, particularly the sinus cavities. No other skull on the market provides this level of depth, detail, and accessibility to studying the human skull. 14 removable or exposed parts means no detail is unavailable to you, including display of deep bone anatomy. This is one of the top skulls in the entire anatomical industry.

Q: I don't need a skull as detailed as this one. Do you offer another Rudiger skull without all of these features?

A: Yes we do. If you are not interested in a demonstration skull, we also offer the Rudiger 4 Part Skull.

Q: There are a lot of pieces to this model. What if something is missplaced or lost?

A: Please contact our customer support team if you have lost a piece of this model. We can be reached at 800-422-1134. We can then discuss the available options.

Q: How long is the warranty on this model?

A: All Rudiger models come with an industry-leading 5 year warranty.

    Incredible detail

To be able to have a skull break into this many pieces, yet fit right back together is quite the accomplishment. The way I am able to pick and choose what I want to take off the skull and show to the class is invaluable. Incredible quality and a great price for what you get here

    Skull

Posted by Kit G. on Jan 8th 2017

Wow very interesting skull model. It can be cut apart into 14 and the inside of it look real bone skull of a human. Even it is dissectible part it still safe because every part is secured with a screw or pin. I fascinated this skeleton model.
