Molded from a natural human skull with an excellent reproduction of all anatomical details. This skull features 31 individual, fully formed teeth including root structures that can be removed and reinserted for added depth of study. A bone flap in the lower jaw allows views of the tooth root, spongiosa, nerve canal and an impacted wisdom tooth. The skullcap is removable to allow insight into the full-fledged base of the skull. Nerve channels in the base of the skull are opened. In addition, all bone structures and sutures are brought to life with a proprietary staining technique. Special pins are used to hold the skullcap and skull base together, providing an exception advantage over standard anatomical skull construction. In addition, the bone structures have been completely redesigned on the inside of the skull base to show exception and uncompromised anatomical detail. Skull measures approximately 9.5 x 5.5 x 6.7 inches and weighs approximately 2.5 pounds.

Manufactured by medical artists and craftsmen in Germany. Backed by an industry-leading 5 year warranty.

I've heard of three part skulls before, but I've never seen 4-part skulls. Being able to take apart the skull like normal is cool, but being able to take off that fourth part to take a look inside the cheek was really cool, it's a view that you don't get to see too often. The quality of this model is amazing. Very excited to do more with this!

Never in my life did I think "Impressive" would be a term I'd use to describe an anatomy teaching tool, but that is exactly how I feel about this skull from Rudiger. The level of craftsmanship on this piece is very high quality, and the pricing was even better. If you have an anatomy lab at your school, you need to get one of these!
