Description
This model is designed for practicing ultrasound guided central venous (CV) puncture as well as landmark puncture by enabling students to identify the puncture site by recognizing the bodys important landmarks. Students can collect simulated blood when a needle is inserted into the vein. Teaches students to execute CV punctures by putting negative pressure on the syringe. The model also provides backflow air pressure indicating the accidental puncture of a lung. Kokens realistic silicone skin feels natural to the touch for more effective instruction. Students can also practice ultrasound guided central venous puncture by utilizing an ultrasonography imaging system. Internal jugular, subclavian, and supraclavian venous puncture can all be practiced on this model.
