Made by GPI Anatomicals, this semi-articulating right rotator cuff model features an encapsulated humerus that is removable from the capsular ligament of the shoulder joint. This allows demonstration of the rotator cuff's role in both fixing the humerus in the glenoid cavity and depressing it during elevation. The model clearly displays the ligaments and the infraspinatus, teres minor, teres major, subscapularis and supraspinatus muscles. The model is accompanied by an informative education card, as well as a sturdy plastic base, making this model a great addition to advanced medical study and professional consultation.
