Overview
The Axis Scientific Flexible Female Pelvic Skeleton with L4 and L5 Vertebrae is naturally cast to be accurately sized using durable PVC for long-term use.
This pelvic model has the ischium, ilium, and pubis bones intact with bungees connecting the pubic symphysis and the left and right superior rami of the pubic bones and connecting the sacrum (with intact L4 and L5 vertebrae) to the iliac at the sacroiliac joint (SI joint). The use of these bungees at the symphysis and sacroiliac joints allows for articulation of the model which can be easily disassembled.
This model would be a great learning tool for midwives and anyone who works in the areas of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Orthopedics. Also a great model to share for patient demonstration.
