Produced in Germany to exceptional standards, this detailed model of the human eyeball is simply gorgeous. The model is about 3 times life size, and is sectioned horizontally to reveal the muscles of the eye. The optic nerve is visible to the base of the skull.

The model itself can be dissected into 9 parts; Superior rectus muscle, exterior straight muscle, upper half of the sclerotic membrane, choroid membrane and retina (2 parts), vitreous humor, lens, lacrimal organs and eyelids, and the bony orbit.

Many students report great results when they pair models with charts, like The Eye Anatomical Chart.

The model is mounted on an attractive base, and made of durable SOMSO-Plast for years of use.
