Pediatric 4 Vessel Ultrasound Training Block Model

Block model for practicing ultrasound-guided vascular access of pediatric vessels. We designed all of our CAE Blue Phantom signature blue training blocks entirely of our patented Simulex tissue. This model is a junior version of our best selling, original, 4-vessel Blue Block and is excellent for training pediatric clinicians in the psychomotor skills associated with ultrasound venous and arterial cannulation procedures. It features a blood vessel branching into four vessels positioned at differing depths and courses. The branched vessels offer multiple training opportunities, including independent linear vessels for initial training in addition to multiple overlapping branched vessels for more advanced ultrasound training. Practice using ultrasound system controls, positioning and moving the transducer, and recognizing vessels in soft tissue. Positive fluid flow "flash" occurs when the vessels are accurately accessed. The Simulex tissue has self-healing properties allowing for 1000+ punctures when used with an 18-21 gauge needle.
