Red Blood Cell Model

The most common types of blood cells in the human body are red blood cells, our primary oxygen delivery source. Our body is constantly replenishing and recycling these tiny components of the body, with approximately 2.4 million new red blood cells produced every second. Understanding these cells, and their role in the body, is important to an understanding of the human body.

With this 4 piece interactive model, kids can easily assemble their own miniature model of a red blood cell. The model measures just over 4" tall, and makes a great science fair display or school project, especially when used in conjunction with the White Blood Cell Model.
