Description
This is the Koken Feces Removal and Glycerin Enema Training Model for use in the fields of nursing and to patient welfare. Students can practice administering a glycerin enema and manual/digital feces removal while the model provides the same sensations and feedback as a human body, while a clinical instructor can observe the trainee's technique and provides exact instructions. - This model simulates bedridden or elderly patients who are having difficulty eliminating solid waste by themselves. Students can practice the removal of simulated feces in the rectum by digital insertion. The student can insert simulated feces (included in the kit) into the intestines and then remove it from the anus with the proper manual technique. - Students can also practice administering a glycerin enema. Glycerin fluid can be injected into the anus which the model can discharge from a drainage tube at the side of abdomen. When students open the abdominal cover, the position of the enemator end is confirmed through the transparent intestines and making is possible to teach administering a safe glycerin enema.
