Description
This Full Body X-Ray Phantom model has real human skeleton bones, providing excellent opportunities for radiographic training programs. The model can be easily positioned and aligned for training students on common X-Ray techniques. The phantom contains a real human skeleton, which allows students to take real x-ray images just like in an actual patient. Using a real skeleton provides insight in to even smallest the guiding structures which is impossible with a plastic skeleton. Erler-Zimmer pays special attention to the correct size of joint spaces. All joints (head, arms, legs) are moveably mounted to allow for positioning in all normal x-ray positions. The arms can be moved upwards which makes the phantom suitable for use in all kinds of osseous examinations under CT. Because these Phantom Models are made from real human skeletons, each phantom is a hand-made one of a kind; and one model is going to differ in size and appearance from the next. Depending on the individual phantom it may have some abnormal pathologies, and its outer shape may differ depending on actual size of the skeleton.
Estimated weight for the manikin can vary, depending on slight size variations and bone density of the skeletons. Typically it should be between 13 and 21 kg (28 and 47 lbs).
5 year warranty is included.
