Max is cast from an original human skeleton, allowing for the details you've come to expect from 3B, but additionally shows the structural interaction between bones and muscles, a great advantage for anatomy students. This skeleton depicts over 600 structures of medical/anatomical significance including muscle origins (red) and insertions (blue), clearly displayed on the left side, as well as hand numbered bones, fissures and foramina on the right side. The details on the skeleton are astounding, including individually inserted teeth and a 3 part mounted skull. Max is 76 tall, and weighs in at 16 lbs, a closely realistic weight for a real skeleton. While Max could find a home in any environment, he is best suited for advanced education, including medical school and beyond.
Max is easy to assemble and is Made in Germany of durable, unbreakable plastic. However, in case of damage through normal wear and tear, Max is backed by a 3 year warranty through the manufacturer. Max comes with a hanging stand and a dust cover. Additionally, he is compatible with the A59/8 Multifunctional Stand (our SKU : A-100272).
